IAF Aero TeamOfficial PhotosThe Isreali Air Force Flight Academy Aerobatic Team is an ad-hoc team, which include five members: four pilots and single navigator, all Team members are Flight Instructors in the Flight Academy. The Team performs about five airshows a year: on Israel Independence Day, and at the Flight Academy Graduation ceremonies. Before each show the Team practice for a month. The Team pilots are highly qualified due the need to fly in close formations during aerobatic meanouvers. Currently, the Team flies IAI Tzukit used in the Flight Academy as jet trainer. The Texan II T-6A will replace Tzukit in the Team until Summer 2010. During 2009 summer shows I was the Team official photograher.Go To Gallery
